Chance Murray

Chance has been coming to Deseret Ranch since 1994, when he was 8 years old. He spent summers learning to fish, and would hunt vicariously through his father until he was old enough to hunt for himself. These humble beginnings as a novice fly fisherman have led to a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing, so much so that Chance flew back from Washington, D.C., where he was living at the time, to guide for two weeks during the 2014 hunting season. 

Chance thrives on the challenge of hunting big game and the strategy required to successfully harvest a trophy animal. More importantly, he’s focused on providing an enjoyable hunting experience to his hunters and enjoys pointing out the natural treasures that make Deseret Ranch such a unique place. Chance is a CPA and is currently pursuing an MBA degree at the University of Utah.
