Mat Summers

Mat has lived in northern Utah his whole life and has been hunting big game sense he was 14 years old. Growing up Mat's father talked about hunting mule deer on Deseret back in the late 1950s into the early 1980s. So he grew up hearing about how great the ranch is and has always wanted to be apart of the ranch. Mat loves Deseret and it holds a special place in his heart. 

Mat guides about 4 to 5 weeks a year for Wild County. Mat works full time as a maintenance mechanic at a Salt Plant on the Great Salt Lake. 

Mat is married and has 3 children and 2 granddaughters. Mat and his family love spending time in the mountains together hunting and camping.
