Practice shooting at 300 yards from a shooting position (i.e. sitting and using shooting sticks)
Hunting tag/license
Clothing (ensure you can layer). Temperatures can range from the 20’s in the mornings to the 60’s in the afternoon. The terrain is rocky and cedar country with a lot of thorns and cactus. Bring clothes/boots that will accommodate this landscape. The snakes should not be out this time of year so snake boots are not required, but they do help against the thorns and cactus.
