Wes Weston

Wes grew up ranching and hunting/fishing in northern Utah.  He is married and has three kids.  I started Cowboying on Deseret in 1999.  When the cow hunts started that fall, Rick (the biologist at the time) asked me if I would like to get involved in the wildlife side of the ranch and I jumped at the chance.  I have been helping guide ever since.  I get to do 3-4 weeks a year, Which is all the vacation time that I can use (or I would do more).  I love the atmosphere at the ranch.  I love how it has become a team environment.  I also love the clients.  If things were different, I probably wouldn't be there.  My favorite hunt to guide is Moose.
